02 / THE LONG WAY ROUND

A little about me

MUSIC. BUSINESS. CODE.

Different starts.
The same
curiosity.

There’s a person behind the projects.

My route into development started with music and an events business. I spotted a gap and wanted to do something about it.

Business meetings opened a door into the digital side of things. I began building websites for early clients with Framer, then became increasingly interested in what bespoke development and control over hosting could make possible.

Exploring platforms such as Base44 and GoDaddy helped me question the limits of the tools I was using. My focus shifted towards using AI deliberately, including Claude and GitHub workflows, to address actual business needs.

At Cloud Connect, I’ve learned how much good engineering depends on people: team alignment, leadership, and senior developers who guide you and help you recognise your potential.

I’m still learning. The thread through all of it is problem solving, taking responsibility, and getting things done.

“Make it exist first.
Then refine it later.”
